Dori’s Bio:

Dori Edwards

Dori has been dancing all her life. Her formal training began in her early twenties when she studied West African Dance. For the past 12 years she has travelled to weekend conferences in various cities around the United States as well as Guinea West African to study for a month long intensive.

She has a passion for this form of dance and loves to share it with others. She offers a beginning West African dance class on a weekly basis. From 2000-2008 she directed the dance team for Like Water Drum & Dance. Dori now performs with Tree of Life Drum & Dance Society and is a fitness trainer for pure barre.

She has taught in elementary, middle, and high schools throughout the state of Michigan enlivening students with original dance choreography, stories, and rhythm games for the past 7 years.

Come join us for an afternoon of transformation to awaken the goddess within.  Experience reconnection with your inner feminine light through the practice of yoga, dance and meditation.
